Lethe Place Bed & Breakfast in Cadgwith, Cornwall is a charming weatherboarded house which was built over one hundred years ago. Local stories tell us that the wooden frame is even older than the house and was brought to its present resting place from Predannack air base just along the coast where it was used as a munitions store during the war! When we investigated the meaning of the word Lethe, we were pleased to find out that the river Lethe in Greek mythology was deemed to induce forgetfulness and sleep! we hope you find your stay with us as peaceful as we find living in this wonderful part of Cornwall.

Tucked away above Cadgwith fishing cove with beautiful views across the garden, through the trees and out to the sea beyond, a tranquil and quiet location where all that can be heard is the birdsong and the sea. Lethe Place has a lovely old world porch which you are welcome to enjoy, take tea on or just relax and enjoy the views.

Cadgwith Cove sits within an area of outstanding natural beauty and is within easy walking distance from Lethe Place, walk the coastal paths, take a boat trip, visit local artists or just sit and watch the fisherman bring in their catch!
